Stretching is not a purely physical exercise. It teaches you to go a little further than you initially thought you could go. This is a crucial belief, because it determines our limitations. By stretching, this belief, our mind, also stretches. Over time, your body and mind become looser and more flexible. Your kicks become higher, the stances deeper and in every movement more and more freedom unfolds.
Along the way, you also learn about the pain that comes with stretching. On the Shaolin Way, the "Shaolin Breakfast" is the pleasure of rising above your own limits.
After training, you immediately feel a weight lift off you and your body feels as light as a swallow. If you train long term and endure, your mind, body and heart improve to the next and higher level. This all leads to finding and knowing your better self! Stretch your body, stretch your life!
